# Design of AP7 - color and wallmount?

I love Firewalla Gold series and would like to implement VqLAN based microsegmentation, but find the AP7 design, esp. the plastic yellow parts, so ugly that I am holding off. Maybe ok in an office but never in a home. I’ll have to stick to my current wallmounted Orbi 753 series white/silver mesh network merely due to design. This is a pity, really.

Unless you plan some more neutral look of the AP7 hardware soon? Ideally wall-mountable too?

The Firewalla AP7C can be mounted on the wall.

Due to AI induced parts shortage, we are unlikely to make any new hardware for a while
